Excellent surprise

I have had a problem with bleeding gums for most of my life and was always skeptical about the damage that these devices would potentially bring to my teeth. In fact this was a present from my wife, I never considered buying one such was my concern. I was pleasantly surprised to experience no bleeding at all using the Sensi UltraThin brush head it came with. The 'ultra clean' feeling it leaves after each usage is still quite puzzling as compared to the traditional brushes I have used all my life. I am guessing that it is operating wonders as far as plaque removal is concerned. Highly recommended.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Excellent choice

I’ve always used a manual toothbrush but suffer from receeding gumlines. I’m converted already! This toothbrush is excellent, my teeth have never felt so clean after brushing.

Yes, I recommend this product.

NEW 2017 Pro 2 2000N Lithium Ion battery version

The old Nickel Metal Hydride NiMH battery version was great new but the battery life was very poor after a year or two. **The 2017 version Pro2 2000N has a Lithium Ion battery which has double the (milli) ampere hours and far superior longevity. ** 5stars for results and quality with new Li-Ion battery**. @@Red pressure sensitive warning light saves from bleeding gums or, I found, taking off dental gumline shells.@@ I use the lower setting with a flossing head then finish off with higher setting for polishing.@@ Full charge lasts twice as long and you will not need to keep it on charge every night.@@**Most quality power tools eg now come with Li-Ion batteries because they are not subject to 'memorisation' (if you do not fully discharge the battery you cannot get all of the charge out of it, or if you do not fully charge the battery it will not accept a full charge)**12-14 hour overnight charge should easily give full week of service. The Oral B travel case, brush holders etc can be sourced separately on line. My old Pro 2000 came in contact with Listerine Zero mouthwash in my soap bag, that rotted the rubber waterproof grip, there is no easily sourced replacement for this.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Very short life

It worked fine for about two years then just stopped working. When I complained I was told it was only guaranteed for two years.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Poor quality power charger

Got it as a Christmas present. The brush was sold with power charger having EU style plug. The plug pins have too small spacing for inserting into matching adapter for UK plugs. You need to use high force to push it in, and even worse it is to remove it back. It is a junk quality item not deserving to be labelled 'Made in Germany', being a big contrast to the brush itself. I have decided to return this product because I am not going to 'fight' with power charger every time I will need to use it.

No, I do not recommend this product.

incorrectly marketed

Oral b have failed to correctly describe this product. I have now bought multiple brushes of this model, all of which have a daily clean mode and sensitive mode. There is no gum care mode on the pro 2 2000. only the 4 mode brushes have gum care. This is verified by the user manual.Oral b also fail to mention the speed ot this brush on the packaging. it is 9900 oscillations per minute, and 45000 pulsations per minute.Since Oral b have over complicated their modelling convention, it makes it overwhelming when choosing a model. many different model numbers are actually the same brush with a different head (heads are interchangeable so no difference). If a company causes so much confusion, I would not recommend their products,.

No, I do not recommend this product.
